Rev. Derick R. Dickens (MDiv, MAR, MBA) is an American Presbyterian and former pastor now a business professional, academic, and writer. Dickens has preached across the United States and Brazil and has written for several Christian organizations.[1]

He’s served as an adjunct professor at institutions like Geneva College and Cornerstone University, and he’s no stranger to both the academic and practical sides of leadership. Formerly a Baptist pastor, now worshiping in the Presbyterian Church in America, Derick writes and speaks from a Reformed perspective, tackling everything from theology to business leadership[2].

In the professional world, Derick has led leadership and organizational development initiatives in SVP and VP roles in the financial sector and for Fortune 500 Companies, and he’s also known as an award-winning public speaker[2][3][4].

Academically, Derick has taught a variety of courses from Business Management, Leadership, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and also coached undergraduates on their thesis topic. He designed the MBA program for a College, designed curriculum and have written academically on various topics from HR, Business, to Theology.

Derick holds an MDiv, MBA, MA and is all but dissertation in a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology[2].
