Joseph Elijah (Eli) McGowan is an American Presbyterian and filmmaker based in Tennessee, he adheres to the Westminster Confession of Faith and is a member of a church in the PCA. McGowan holds a MFA in Film & Television from the Savannah College of Art & Design and a BS in Government from Liberty University. McGowan was homeschooled with his seven younger siblings, and he had left law school in 2016 to pursue filmmaking.[1]
