Books of the Apocrypha

The Apocrypha are a group of Books which were added to the Bible later and are not considered canonical, however many of the Fathers and the Reformers considered them useful to read for guidance and learning. Unlike the rest of the Bible, they are not infallible. Gnostic texts are not included in this list.

Note: The Old Testament Apocrypha (Deuterocanon) is considered scripture by the Roman Catholic Church, due to their use of the Septuagint rather than the Hebrew Bible.
